Grow Batheaston netball fun and fitness

The GBNF&F has just completed its 4th successful session following its launch last month by Sarah Clarke and Emily Wright, both residents in Batheaston. We really wanted to scoop up those adults who used to play netball and want to play again just for fun and get a bit fitter. There is no pressure of a twice weekly commitment for practice and matches or trying out to make the team and competing at a high level in a local league. We were frustrated that this level of netball was hard to find locally, so as we have our court in the village it didn’t take long to raise funds to buy the balls, bibs and use the posts we already had. The session starts with a warm up, followed by drills to hone those netball skills and then game time to put everything into play, followed by a nice stretch. We welcome beginners, returners, the curious and all those with trimmed nails!

Now that we have the adults up and running, we are soon to launch the Junior Netball for children, so watch the GB website for more details.
