Madison's Giant Sunflower Competition

Hi I’m Madison and I go to Batheaston Church School. Last summer I grew my tallest sunflower EVER, it measured 13.1ft and had a crazy amount of ‘heads’. I harvested the seeds and now I invite you to grow your own!

I will be selling bags of seeds from Batheaston Park after school during the week of the 19th April. Each bag costs £1 and all monies will be donated to FOBS (Friends of Batheaston School.)

Once your seeds are planted keep us updates with your sunflowers’ progress via “Madison’s Giant Sunflower Competition’ page on Facebook.

There will be prizes awarded for the tallest sunflower and the sunflower with the most ‘heads’. Happy Growing!

Grow Batheaston will also be selling any left over seeds at the seedling sale in the riverside car park on Saturday 1st May between 11am-1pm
