Celebrating Autumn

As the days shorten and the weather cools, it can be gratifying to notice and celebrate how nature is hunkering down for autumn, providing fruits for us and berries and seeds for wildlife.

During a quick forage in the garden we found beautifully coloured and evergreen leaves, bright berries and unusual seed pods. These were then arranged on and then woven into a premade willow circular base, but any bendy twigs can be used, then secured with thin wire.

Great to display this on a front door, or gate, in a window or gift it to someone you know needs cheering up?
