Batheaston Art Trail 2024
The 2024 Batheaston Art Trail was held over a damp weekend in September but that didn’t deter the hundreds of visitors. Forty-one artists exhibited across fourteen venues in the village. They showed a variety of mediums including Fine Art, Prints, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Textiles, Jewellery and Ceramics. St John the Baptist Church hosted a ‘pop up’ cafe as well as displaying some of the art work and a fascinating exhibition about the links between Batheaston and the Sufragette Movement. Thanks to support from the Co-op Local Community fund, the Youth Club building (next to Batheaston Village Hall) held a selection of art related workshops which proved popular with for all ages and abilities.
The Art Trail Committee are hugely grateful for the goodwill given by local businesses and all the volunteers who helped with publicity, catering, setting up and tidying away, without that support the weekend Art trail would not be possible.
