Imagine the wonderful things you really like to do for yourself. Those things that make you feel calm and whole! It could be running, shopping, dancing or sculpting, cooking, reading or gardening, pampering or just chilling. 

You know, those things that really calm your soul, and make you feel alive!

When we do those activities, we send ourselves wonderful waves of happy feelings that flood our whole beings. 

When you make time to do the things that make your heart sing, you become relaxed, happy and grounded. Joy literally radiates out of you, and is contagious to everyone around you. 

So, imagine what effect you can have on your loved ones, when you are being the most relaxed, happy and joyous version of yourself?

Imagine yourself smiling, radiating bliss and sending out love into the universe. Imagine what that feels like to be around? How it will inspire others to find joy by doing their favourite things too. 

So is doing things for you really selfish? 

Is it really better to always be putting others first, prioritising work, allowing our energy to be drained, leaving us feeling tired, unable to cope and snappy?

Remember to make special time for you, so you can send out those joyful rays to everyone around you.
