Grow Batheaston has been working alongside the Parish Council to provide the community with better sport sessions, with improvements to the Rhymes Pavilion facilities, the Batheaston Football Pitch and the Netball court.

With support from Bath City FC, Bath Rugby and Bath Rec, girls and boys junior football, netball, walking football, well-being and many other sessions will soon be on offer.

Donations and support have included the painting of the pavilion / netball court, football equipment for the new junior football academy plus free sport and wellbeing sessions for the community.

A community sports open day at the Batheaston Football Pitch will be held on Saturday 26th June, 11am - 1pm, to showcase the forthcoming sessions, and include a free kids football session, and the opportunity to learn more about the existing adult netball sessions and sign up for the mixed junior netball.

We’ll then be looking to begin regular Football sessions for kids, 10am - 12 midday every Saturday morning, with local coaches from Batheaston FC.
