With thanks to Nicole Daw, Trails and Access Officer for the Cotswolds National Landscape, we have a team of volunteers from the Planning Inspectorate coming to Bannerdown to remove ragwort from meadows that will be cut for hay.
If, with your help, we can boost the numbers we will be able to clear the ragwort without too much difficulty! We will then have lots of time after lunch (please bring a picnic) to explore, relax and enjoy Bannerdown’s flora and fauna... hopefully in the company of one or two experts!
Date: Tuesday 12th July
Meet at: Bannerdown Common car park (Ctrl+Click the underlined text to view location)
Time: 10am (to be confirmed)
Depart by: 3pm
Even if you can only spare a couple of hours, your company and support would be very welcome.
Please drop me a short note if you think you might be able to join us on the 12th July and I will keep you updated
Many thanks
P.S. Friends and family would be very welcome too
