Bannerdown Common - Work Party
The meadow on Bannerdown Common has been looking amazing recently! Part of the reason why everything looks so good, and full of life, is that we cut the meadow for hay in late summer.
Before we cut the meadow we try to remove as much Ragwort as possible (Ragwort is a tall yellow flower which is hazardous for livestock).
We are having a Ragwort pulling work party next Thursday 29th July.
On the basis that more hands make light work we would be delighted to welcome a few more volunteers!

We will be meeting at the car park off banner down and 10 and then walking over to the trig point. You can start and leave at any time, so call or text me if you can’t find us.
If you think you might be able to help with pulling ragwort please text or email me for further information, It would be useful if I know numbers in advance.
